IKEA Donates Bedding for Nursing Homes and Orphanages: ProvidingQuality Sleep Support for People in Need

IKEA and DFI Nusantara distributed a donation of sleeping kit to a number of nursing homes and
orphanages in Jakarta and Tangerang. This activity is part of the ‘Bangun Lelapmu’ campaign which
aims to raise awareness of the importance of quality sleep.

On 6 December 2024, IKEA held Lelap Fest, an educational and entertainment event highlighting the
importance of healthy sleep. Continuing the positive impact of the programme, IKEA donated beds
and equipment to various charities.

Beth Shalom Nursing Home and Orphanage received mattresses, bed frames, ROSNKARM ergonomic
pillows, and SAFFEROT duvet covers. Panti Asuhan Al Amanah Nusantara in South Tangerang and Panti
Jompo Tresna Werdha Budi Mulia 3 in South Jakarta also received similar donations, including TREVNAD sleeping pillows.

With this donation activity, IKEA hopes to provide comfort for people in need, so that they can also
sleep better, get quality rest, and have a better quality of life.
