In celebrating Indonesia's 80th anniversary, IKEA Indonesia launched the ‘Made in Indonesia for the
World’ campaign to emphasize its commitment to supporting locally made products. This campaign
highlights local quality and potential so that it becomes more widely known, both in the domestic and
global markets.
Ririn Basuki, Public Relations Manager of IKEA Indonesia, said that this campaign is part of IKEA's long-
term commitment to empowering local resources and domestic businesses.
Concrete steps taken include assisting MSMEs, promoting local products in overseas stores, and localizing supply chains. Products such as BUSKBO baskets, DJUNGELSKOG dolls, and NYKIL sofas are proof that Indonesian products can compete globally.
According to Hanna Rosella Fitriana, Commercial Activity Leader at IKEA Indonesia, every product has
cultural value and social impact, from creating economic opportunities to reducing carbon emissions.
Through this campaign, IKEA encourages the public to take greater pride in local products.
Collaboration between global brands and Indonesian manufacturers is believed to create sustainable value while elevating the nation's profile on the world stage.
