Guardian Achieves Halal Certification, Commitment to Customer Safety and Convenience

Jakarta, 6 March 2025 - Guardian, a leading health and beauty retail network in Indonesia, officially
obtained Halal Certificate from the Halal Product Guarantee Agency (BPJPH). Guardian is the first health
and beauty retailer in Indonesia to obtain this certification, as proof of its commitment on providing
services that meet halal standards and support the national halal ecosystem.

The certification ceremony was held at DoubleTree Hotel, South Tangerang, attended by BPJPH, LPPOM, and Guardian business partners. Guardian emphasizes its commitment on maintaining halal products from the store to the hands of consumers, by ensuring that all business processes comply with Islam sharia standards.

Anna Hull, Managing Director of Guardian Indonesia, stated that this achievement strengthens consumer confidence, especially Muslim customers. Guardian hopes that more and more people will care about the importance of halal products that have an impact on quality of life.

Deputy Head of BPJPH, Afriansyah Noor, also appreciated Guardian's steps and encouraged other
businesses to follow. Guardian is committed to continue providing high quality products, halal and
maintaining the continuity of the Halal Product Process at all stores to meet customer needs who are
increasingly aware of the importance of halal.
