Help Strengthen MSMEs through Teras Indonesia, IKEA Indonesia Collaborates with Ministry of Trade of the Republic Indonesia

A new partnership between IKEA Indonesia and the Ministry of Trade of the Republic of Indonesia
designed to strengthen MSMEs and help them thrive in a growing economy.

On 4 June 2025, in Jakarta, Iqbal Shoffan Shofwan, Director General of Domestic Trade and Hadrianus
Wahyu Trikusumo, Director of IKEA Indonesia, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) – our third government partnership alongside the Ministry of SME and the Ministry of Industry.

At the heart of this partnership is the Teras Indonesia programme, our long-running initiative that gives
MSMEs free space in IKEA Indonesia stores to showcase and sell their products since 2017. We’ve also
provided hands-on training to local entrepreneurs.

With this new collaboration, we’re scaling our impact, creating more opportunities for local businesses to grow, connect, and succeed.
